What you need to know about the Tesla Model 3 electric car
A year after unveiling the Tesla Semi, Tesla CEO Elon Musk is announcing that the company is preparing to start producing an electric car.
According to The Wall Street Journal, Tesla is currently “reconsidering the model, and is exploring different ways to get the electric car on the road” and has begun to “look for ways to produce more than 100,000 cars.”
While the Model 3 may be “an incremental step forward” in the Model S, Musk says that “the Model 3 is a game-changer.”
And while the Model X will likely remain the company’s top-selling sedan, Musk is already looking to ramp up production of the Model 4 to help it compete with Tesla’s flagship sedan, the Model Y.
